The professional touring FLY Dance Company was shut down July 2006 after a long and successful period rising from an unknown local group to a highly regarded dance company presented throughout the U.S. and Europe.

It had accomplished its mission to "utilize street dancers to develop a nationally recognized dance company with unequaled community outreach."

The former FLY web site is maintained as background for understanding the "current" FLYworks mission that carries on the tradition of FLY Dance Company.

That tradition is now carried on through FLYworks' new mission activities and is embodied in FLY KiDS and FLY Crew as the showcase performing groups.

At some point, when the time is right, you may see a new FLY Dance Company.
