Our Mission
Utilize street dancers to develop a nationally recognized dance company with unequaled community outreach to help kids dance down the right path.

Outreach Attendance
FLY Dance Company performs for over 30,000 students yearly in theaters, schools, community centers, and detention centers throughout the U.S.

Curriculum-Based
Shows are curriculum-based and tailored for the school setting with upbeat, positive music and images. The dancers use signs to reinforce vocabulary, props to illustrate concepts, humor to ease the understanding of content, and audience participation to make it fun.

Touring
FLY Dance Company tours these shows around the United States. Booking these shows in conjunction with concert performances provides community outreach as well as increases concert attendance by youth and families.

Anti-Drug Program
The anti-drug show, "FLY to the Rescue", is available to community organizations and agencies as well as schools. FLY dancers stand as role models delivering sobering messages through cool performances with no generation gap as a barrier to communication.

Awards and Endorsements
Director Kathy Wood received the Red Cross Everyday Hero Award for her work with at-risk youth. FLY has been endorsed by the City of Houston's Anti-Gang Task Force.

Program Guides
Outreach performance program guides are available for teachers.
